Rushing back to normal life
Antonia leaves the hospital at the beginning of this week and luckily recovers rather quickly. During the first, somehow rainy days we do something I always wanted to do, but for some reason never did: we visited the Krimmler Wasserfälle. It is only an hour drive-away from Jochberg. So we do, and like it, they are really huge and impressive. Antonia, however, is little bit skeptic and afraid, and decides to stay as far away as possible (and I have to, as well). The other day we drive to Hintersee, one of our favorite places near Jochberg. It is a secret tip, I recommend everybody to visit this mountain lake once, especially in spring, when there is an ocean of flowers surrounding it. It is also very nice now, and we play hide and seek in the forest. When the weather is clearing up on mid-week, we finally find time to work in the garden. The grass is getting dry enough to be mowed, one of my favorite activities here. I have two helpers, who diligently rake the leaves and trim the bushes. One of the workers is especially eager and helpful, as you can imagine. Luckily the lawn tractor itself is too noisy and scary for her, otherwise I would be still sitting there I guess. Mama, Oma Dita and her new private nurse Maria, watch us and sit in the garden with coffee and cake, an idyllic scene and perfect day.
