I love faceless images. I think the main reason is that we can identify ourselves easily with the subject in the picture, be it a child or an adult.
We finally bought a sledge this week. Plastic, green, not very expensive, but it works and does its job. Obviously, Antonia sits in it now non-stop and wants to be pulled around everywhere. We discovered already the sledge run in the playground - first accident, crashed with a tree at the end of the run, hit the nouse. Which architect built a sledge run with a tree at the end? Anyhow, some tears, but we continued. The hit was the ice sledge run in the city center this week, on the marketplace. Well, of course she could not pass it, never. Up, down, up, down etc, with sledge, without, for hours. Antonia is really a quite brave little girl, courageous, she has a lot of trust and is not afraid. Which is good I guess. Weather-wise, the sun sets already much later these days, around 4:00 pm. We caught a nice golden hour one day during a nice drive-around through the countryside. I also took some pictures of Richard and pregnant Helmi on Saturday, and we had Petja’s birthday party on sunday. But more about it in the next blog...
