Around our clock - 11am in April

around our clocks

Welcome again to our “Around the clock” blog circle, where we are documenting an hour of the day each month. For April we were documenting the hour between 11:00 and 12:00 am.

We spent nearly whole April in Austria, since is was Easter-time and we are traditionally with the big family for larger celebrations. I had some conference as well in Vienna, so i combined everything and moved to our cottage in the Alps for a while. Needless to say, Antonia was happy and for most of the time she disappeared into a huge crowed of cousins (she has 7!). Why do I tell you this? Because 11 am was special in April. Usually she would be in daycare during the week in Finland, but now she was most of the time with us. We had plenty of time to makes pics and I had a hard time to nail it down to 5 (as you see, I post 6:)). Even though the weather was horrible (look at those clouds!), and chilly, we went for smaller excursions often and that usually around 11 am before lunch (and again later afternoon). E.g. around the "Schwarzsee" and to Kitzbuehel. Here are some impressions from this months at this hour. When it started to snow later this months, i refused to continue shooting :)

Christina B.

Hi.

My name is Christina. Welcome to my passion and my living dream. Weddings and family occasions to me are the events which most need to be memorialized and saved in pictures. I am a mother, photographer, biologist, and a happy-go-lucky person who loves to travel and has been known to throw caution to the wind. I use my camera and my curiosity to find love, beauty, joy and humor in unexpected places. Every time I meet a new couple so crazy in love they can’t keep their eyes and hands off each other, it makes my stomach flip because I absolutely know how it feels to be that new couple. This is how I know how much it matters to have those moments captured in time. Because no matter how many years pass, when you look back at those pictures, you won’t think about all the imperfections but you will remember the love, sun’s warmth and the song that was playing in the background and the moment will come live
