Around our clock - 2pm in May

Welcome again to our “Around the clock” blog circle, where we are documenting an hour of the day each month. For May we were documenting the hour between 2:00 and 3:00 pm.

At 2 pm, there is usually silence in our home because Antonia sleeps. She is still keeping this lunch nap and though she sometimes does not want, we kind of force it. This means sometimes riving by car, sometimes going for a walk with her stroller to make her sleepy enough. We need also this 1 or 2 hours a day for us. So, I cannot report much other than raving how sweet she is when she sleeps. She sleeps mostly on her back, or on the side, quitely, sometimes outside on the balcony or inside in the bed. When she wakes up, she is so soft and tender and usually too tired for nagging, and needs a lot of hugs and kisses. Though we stopped breast feeding already a long time ago, she still likes to touch my breast during waking up and falling asleep. Very sweet tender moments I will enjoy as long as possible.

16/52 - Parent's view. One of my thoughts/views: sSince we were late parents, she will likely stay a single child which I feel pity for her. I promised to myself to give her as much as possible the closeness of the big family and the togetherness with her cousins, of which she has luckily many. Picture taken technically on Easter sunday before this week officially starts, but it fits so much the theme.
